# Downloading

Mbed TLS releases are available in the [public GitHub repository](https://github.com/Mbed-TLS/mbedtls).
To download directly, use the following Git command:

```sh
git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/Mbed-TLS/mbedtls.git
```
